DocQ-Smart™ supports the use of e-signatures and digitized displays (i.e. Pen enabled monitor, USB writing pad, or tablet computer) allowing you to capture or add an authorized signature to any document. The products advanced security algorithm will detect the presence of any writing in the displayed form upon saving the document. Once saved, the signature and associated written text is encrypted to eliminate the possibility of anyone copying, editing, or altering the signature in anyway. The entire document is then encrypted to encapsulate the encrypted signatures providing a further level of document security.

Based on the security rights applied to the document, only DocQ-Smart users can open a document processed by DocQ-Smart. Even if the author of a document opens a previously saved document in DocQ-Smart, then cannot change or alter any information contained in the document. They can only add information to the document. Each time a document is opened and saved, the documents audit trail is up-dated and the document version number is incremented.
